Updated 6 Nov 2026: every price below was checked on the vendor's own pricing page that day.

The best LMS for a sales team depends on size. Under 100 reps, a published-price LMS such as 360Learning ($8 per user a month) or iSpring LMS ($6.91) covers courses and quizzes for under $2,000 a year for 20 reps. Over 100 reps, the enablement suites (Mindtickle, Seismic, Allego, Showpad) add CRM-linked coaching, but none publishes a price. Whatever you pick, check how reps practise speaking, because that is where most sales LMS setups are thin.

How we picked and checked

We looked at the platforms that show up when sales leaders search for a sales LMS, plus the three big enablement suites. For each one we opened the official pricing page and product page on 6 Nov 2026, and recorded the price exactly as written. We did not use review sites for prices.

We judged each platform on four things a sales team needs:

  1. Price you can see before a demo call.
  2. Spoken practice: roleplay, video pitches or AI buyers, not just quizzes.
  3. CRM link: Salesforce or HubSpot, so training data sits next to deal data.
  4. Fit by team size: a 15-rep startup and a 500-rep field team need different tools.

Disclosure: we make Tough Tongue AI, an AI voice roleplay tool. It is not an LMS, so it appears below as a practice layer, not in the LMS ranking.

Two mergers changed this market. Highspot's site now says "Highspot is part of Seismic". Showpad says Vector Capital bought both Showpad and Bigtincan (Brainshark) in 2025 and merged them. If you are buying either suite, ask which product roadmap your contract covers.

What 20 reps cost in year one

Most "best LMS" lists skip price. Here is the year-one list price for a 20-rep team that does 30 minutes of spoken practice per rep each month.

OptionYear one, list pricePer repHow we got it
TalentLMSfrom $1,428—From: Core plan, smallest user band, billed monthly
iSpring LMS$1,658.40$82.92price shown for 100 active users, billed annually
360Learning$1,920$96Team plan, billed monthly, active users
Learn:Up (formerly WorkRamp) + Practice$3,120$156Learn:Up $9 + Practice $4, "starting from", 200-person basis
SAP Litmosfrom $8,000—From: Foundation plan, "starting at"
Tough Tongue AI (practice layer, our product)$5,988$299.40Growth plan (25 seats), 600 practice minutes a month

How to read it:

  • "From" prices are the lowest tier. TalentLMS prices by user band, and SAP Litmos sells annual platform minimums, so a real quote can be higher.
  • iSpring LMS shows $6.91 per user a month for 100 active users. We applied that rate to 20 users. Ask whether it holds for small teams.
  • Learn:Up (WorkRamp's new name under Confirm) prices are "starting from" for a 200-person company, so treat them as a floor.
  • Tough Tongue AI is priced by practice minutes, not seats. The 20-rep team needs the Growth plan because Business stops at 15 seats.

Best for each kind of sales team

  • Startups with 5–30 reps: 360Learning or TalentLMS. 360Learning's Team plan is $8 per active user a month with a 30-day trial and no annual contract (pricing). TalentLMS has a free plan for 5 users and 10 courses (pricing).
  • Teams that want dialogue drills cheaply: iSpring LMS. Its sales training page offers dialog simulations to "role-play real customer conversations and objection handling" (iSpring).
  • Mid-size companies wanting one vendor: Learn:Up + Practice. Confirm sells the LMS and an AI conversation simulator side by side, from $9 and $4 per user a month (pricing).
  • Compliance-heavy companies: SAP Litmos. One LMS for mandatory training and sales training, with "AI video assessments" that score role-play scenarios (plans).
  • Revenue teams of 100+: Mindtickle, Seismic or Allego. These link readiness scores to CRM data. Allego says it prices "per user per month, billed annually upfront" on a typical 3-year term (pricing).

LMS vs enablement suite vs practice layer

An LMS hosts courses, quizzes and certifications. An enablement suite adds sales content management, deal coaching and CRM analytics on top. A practice layer is a tool where reps speak to an AI buyer and get scored, and it works next to whichever LMS you already own.

Most sales LMS platforms now advertise some AI roleplay. The difference is depth: a branching dialogue quiz, a recorded video pitch, or a live spoken conversation with an AI buyer who pushes back. Ask each vendor for a 5-minute live demo of a cold call with an objection, not a slide.

Gartner expects this to matter. It predicts that "by 2029, sales organizations with AI-driven enablement functions will achieve 40% faster sales stage velocity than those using traditional enablement approaches". Shayne Jackson, VP Analyst at Gartner, put it this way: "Traditional enablement was built as a reactive support function, not as a system engineered to drive measurable seller performance."

Why practice is the gap to check

Courses teach what to say. Practice is where reps learn to say it under pressure. In Salesforce's 2026 State of Sales report (4,050 sales professionals in 22 countries, surveyed Aug–Sep 2025):

What reps saidShare
"I don't get enough opportunities to roleplay before customer calls"41%
"I rarely get feedback on my sales conversations"46%
Teams that offer roleplay sessions as enablement26%

Jeff Winters, writing in Harvard Business Review about a sales training overhaul, named the change that worked: "they made practice sessions harder than any sales call was ever likely to be".

If your LMS shortlist has weak spoken practice, you can add a practice layer instead of switching LMS. Tough Tongue AI (our product) runs voice roleplays with AI buyers and scores every session; its free plan includes 25 minutes. To build the scorecard first, use our sales roleplay scoring rubric template.

Buying checklist

  • Can I see a price, or at least a per-user range, before the demo?
  • Does the price count registered users or monthly active users?
  • Can a rep do a spoken roleplay with an objection, scored, in under 5 minutes?
  • Does completion and score data sync to Salesforce or HubSpot?
  • Is AI roleplay included or an add-on (Docebo Roleplay and Seismic's Role-Play Agent in Essential are add-ons)?
  • What is the minimum contract length?
  • Is there a setup fee?

FAQ

What is the best LMS for a small sales team? For under 100 reps, 360Learning's Team plan ($8 per active user a month, monthly billing) and TalentLMS (free for 5 users, Core from $119 a month) are the cheapest published options we found on 6 Nov 2026.

Which sales LMS has AI roleplay? Docebo (Roleplay add-on), 360Learning (AI Roleplay), SAP Litmos (AI video assessments), Learn:Up (Practice), Mindtickle, Seismic, Highspot, Allego and Showpad all advertise AI roleplay on their own sites. Depth varies from dialogue quizzes to spoken AI buyers.

How much does a sales LMS cost per user? Published prices run from $6.91 (iSpring LMS) to $13 (Learn:Up plus Practice) per user a month. SAP Litmos starts at $8,000 a year. Mindtickle, Seismic, Allego, Showpad and Docebo quote privately.
